Today we're taking a staycation to show you some of the best dining and shopping experiences in Southern California, including Michelin star restaurants and locals only spots.
Let's go check it out. We start off with a little retail therapy at South Coast Plaza, which is known as the crown jewel of designer shopping in the world and unrivaled in the west coast of the.
Shopping here is quite an adventure, as you'll see top designers including Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Hermes, Prada, Fendi, Gucci, and the list goes on
Tonight, we're grabbing dinner in a show right here at South Coast. One of the top Asian bistros is located right here in South Coast Plaza called On Key. We are going to On Key. This is a Panas restaurant known for their noodles. Let's go check it out. Owner Elizabeth on comes from a culinary dynasty of four generations.
The bistro offers a stylish dining experience with a few surprises, including the dungeness de shelled.

After dinner, it is Showtime. We head over to the Sagerstrom Hall where we're seeing Miss Saigon, a multi award-winning production from the creators of lay miserable.
We are at Miss Seon, Ms. Sar. This Saigon is a musical and love story set in the Vietnam War era where an American lieutenant falls in love with a geisha. Like where are we?
Hello, hello from Costa Mesa. We are at the Avenue of the Arts Hotel. We got a beautiful suite on the fourth floor, two luxurious beds, and we're overlooking a beautiful lake. Look at this, and we're right in the center of all the action. The Systrom is right nearby and all of the beautiful shopping centers.
Let's go check it. This is the most thoughtful thing I've ever seen in a hotel room. They have every single kind of plug for your phone. Just got breakfast in bed. We got the crab benedict, grapefruit juice, and coffee.
This is the gym. They have a sauna here.
Right here is the business center.
Our hotel has a garden retreat and it looks like E Wonder.
Oh, by the way,
we are here at Toast and Phil. Phil is known for their mochi, donuts, and then toast is an own spot known for their chicken and waffles and avocado toast. Let's check it.
So the owner just came by and brought us these little appetizers of toast with pomegranate seed. Went in California, beat salad.

We are at Havana and we just got Ropa, veja, some delicious salads. So BJ served in a coconut. Time.
Hey guys, we are at the cyclist in Costa Mesa and we're gonna go rent bikes and check out some of the beautiful trails.
We just rented our bikes and they are $20 for the entire day. So we're gonna take it down to really cool pack. Let's go.
All right, so we are biking along 16th Street in Costa Mesa, and this is the residential area. We bike for about 10 minutes before we reach the ocean bluffs of nearby Newport Beach.
So we biked across 16th Street and now we are at this park called Castaways Park. And if you love these views as much as we do, hit the thumbs up button down below.
Mike is checking out the views. What do you think, Mike? The views are amazing. We've gone on an amazing bike tour, but man, we are getting hungry now and we're thirsty. Let's go. So we're gonna see what Costa Mesa has to offer for restaurants, for lunch, and also their beer trail. Woohoo.

Our shopping extravaganza continues at the OC mix, which offers a more artisanal and local foody experience. We are at the OC mix. This is where you get all of the artisanal foods and beverages.
Here we find everything from cheese, olive oil, flour arrangements, cozy nooks to work, and one of our favorite coffee shops in Orange County, Portola.
I just got the Maia with soy milk from Portola. We are at the OC mix and we are checking out Taco Maria, which is one of the best restaurants in Orange County. It. Earned a Michel star and the foundation of the restaurant is corn, homemade tortillas and delicious tacos. First up, we got the gem lettuce, Caesar salad.
That was it. Caesar the scallop aua. It's highly likely that Chef Carlos Salgado from Taco Maria will be at The Taste. The Taste. Costa Mesa and I just ordered the mole chicken tacos. BP got a vegetarian mushroom tacos, and I don't share how you say it. A. A, a, yeah. Have you tried Taco Maria yet? What are your favorite foodie spots in Costa Mesa?
